Heat wave in Kawartha Lakes
Temperatures remain high in much of central and southern Ontario, with some communities under a heat warning.
Environment Canada says Kawartha Lakes will see humidex values near 40 today.
It says there will be a higher risk of heat stroke and heat exhaustion for those in the affected areas.
The agency has also issued special weather statements related to the heat for an area stretching from Smiths Falls to Sarnia.
