HKLB provincial NDP candidates

The NDP has announced their candidate for the Haliburton Kawartha Lakes Brock riding in the upcoming provincial election.

20 year old Zac Miller of Pontypool won the nomination at Community Care Village Housing in Lindsay on Saturday.

Miller says over the last 15 years, social assistance- which is supposed to provide a basic income for those who can’t find work – has been cut by 60%.

He says his party would increase social assistance.

Miller faces Liberal Brooklynne Cramp-Waldinsperger and the Conservatives Laurie Scott.
