Lindsay man surrenders to police after stand-off
After a negotiation, a wanted man surrendered to Kawartha Lakes Police.
Officials say the suspect allegedly assaulted two residents and stole from a Lindsay home on Friday.
Police tracked him down Saturday to a home where the accused refused to leave.
A trained negotiator with the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service was successful in making contact with the suspect and six hours later he surrendered peacefully to police.
A Lindsay man has been charged with break and enter, two counts of assault, theft under $5000 and other charges.
