Natural Gas Fenelon Falls

The Ontario government continues to support the natural gas project in Fenelon Falls, Cameron and Cambray.

The government is investing 12.3 million dollars in to the project.

Infrastructure Minister Monte McNaughton and Labour Minister Laurie Scott were at the Cornerstone Furnishings store in Fenelon Falls this morning meet with some of those already connected to gas so far.

So far, 32 homes and one business have been connected with an estimated thirteen hundred households and 155 businesses having access to natural gas in the next year.

The project should allow households to save up to one thousand dollars per year on energy costs, depending on their current fuel source.
