Omemee Builder loses licence
The Peterborough Examiner reports the licence of an Omemee-based home builder has been revoked for violating terms of its registration under the Ontario New Home Warranties Plan Act.
A notice of proposal to revoke the registration of Kings Custom Homes was issued in July 2017 after Tarion Warranty Corporation received complaints from home buyers.
The builder filed an appeal in August of last year but has since withdrawn it.
As a result, the company is no longer registered with Tarion and cannot build or sell new homes in Ontario.
Kings Custom Homes was selling homes in Peterborough county and the City of Kawartha Lakes.
