Smoke shop arrest

A 38-year-old Lindsay man has been charged after the burglar alarm sounded at a Lindsay smoke shop Wednesday night.

Police were called to a William Street South shop just after 10pm and found the front door glass had been smashed with a large brick.

Video surveillance allegedly showed a man walking up to the store, throwing the brick through the door and then entering the store.

He was then seen running around the counter and grabbing about five bongs and fleeing the store.

Police identified the man as 38 year old Anthony John Quinn and went to his home were he was arrested.
