Update to woman charged in alleged Armed robbery
A Janetville woman has been charged in relation to an alleged armed robbery Saturday at a William St North convenience store in Lindsay.
Kawartha Lakes Police say the woman allegedly displayed a weapon and demanded money from the store clerk just after noon on Saturday then she fled on foot with the cash.
26-year-old Katrina Agelakoudis is charged with Armed Robbery, Uttering Threats, Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace and Wearing a Disguise While Committing an Indictable Offence.
At this time, Police are not linking this robbery to one that happened on Friday at an Albert Street south convenience store.
The suspects in that robbery are described as a female, unknown height, wearing a light blue/grey hooded sweatshirt, sunglasses, dark pants.
The suspect was allegedly armed with a knife and fled the store after obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash.
A second person is also sought who acted as a lookout for the suspect but no description is available.
