Dock World Tour Bucket List Trips...

TRIP #1  Alaskan Cruise

Why choose this one?

The only way to see all of the best that Alaska has to offer is on a cruise.  Alaska is majestic land of stunning glaciers, rugged landscapes, and sweeping colorful valleys. It is one of the last few areas of the world where Mother Nature has been left alone so that wildlife is abundant and living in its natural state. And with close to 34,000 miles of shoreline, Alaska is definitely a coastal state.

Alaska cruises are very different from other cruises in the world because you can be almost constantly in sight of land, on both sides of the ship, with incredible and continuous close-up views of lush temperate rainforest, large fjords, quaint inlets, and soaring mountain peaks. Can you now imagine why many travelers call an Alaska cruise the most fulfilling as well as the ultimate cruise experience?

You take the high road and I’ll take the low road…to the bonny, bonny shores of Loch Lomond.  Scotland is magic, truly one-of-a-kind. You'll take the high road and you'll take the low road as you circle Scotland.  Your route takes you into the Highlands, around the Isle of Skye, across to the Whiskey Trail, and back to Glasgow or Edinburgh. Castles are everywhere.

TRIP #4 Chile Wine Tour

Why choose this one?

Have you ever noticed how much excellent Chilean wine there is around?  Chile is a winelover's paradise.  Not to mention the fabulous food that only volcanic soil and a 12-month growing season can produce.  Take a week  (including travel time) to enjoy Santiago and sample the wineries of the Colchagua and Casablanca Valleys.  You'll wonder why you waited so long to head to the southern hemisphere.

What's included...

Round trip airfare for two from Toronto to Santiago; up to six (6) nights hotel in Santiago, wine tasting day tour to 4 vineyards with sommelier guide, day tour to the coast (Valparaiso and Vina del Mar), and a sightseeing tour.

Beautiful and colorful Morocco is a perfect gateway country to the African continent.  Although it’s just a quick hop from Europe, stepping foot in Morocco is like entering a whole new world. With its Islamic and traditional roots, as well as its influence from French and Spanish colonial rule, here you’ll find a culture completely unique to anything else in the world. Whether you’re seeking big adventure or hoping for some cultural immersion while sightseeing the country, a camel riding tour will give you some insight into the Moroccan way of life.

TRIP #6 Mardi Gras in New Orleans

Why choose this one?

New Orleans is called "The Big Easy" for a reason.   Nobody knows how to party like N'awlins does.  And Mardi Gras?  Well, that's just an excuse to amp up the party still further.   In 2020, Mardi Gras Day is February 25. Fat Tuesday is the last day of the Carnival season as it always falls the day before Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent. The most popular time to visit New Orleans is the extended weekend before Mardi Gras when you can catch parades, like Endymion, Bacchus, Zulu, Rex and all of the festive celebrations throughout the whole city.

What's included...

Round trip airfare for two Toronto to New Orleans; up to five (5) nights hotel in the French Quarter, Sightseeing tour, Paddlewheeler cruise, Plantation tour, Swampboat ride in the Bayou, airport transfers.
