Animal cruelty charges laid in separate incidents
Grey County OPP have charged a man with cruelty to animals after an incident Friday night.
Officers were called to a residence on Side Road 30 in Chatsworth after its alleged a man threw his roomate's cat against the wall with such force, the animal died.
He told police the cat had urinated on his shoes.
21 year old Ryan Crocker was charged with endangering an animal.
He is scheduled to appear in court April 4th.
Meanwhile, in a seperate incident, a 27 year old Owen Sound man has been charged after witnesses observed him kicking and hitting a family dog.
Police say the animal didn't appear to suffer any serious injuries.
The man, who was not named by police, was released from custody and will appear in court April 18th.
