Hanover police bust up drug operation

Hanover Police have busted up a drug operation.

On Saturday, September 1st officers executed a search warrant  at a residence in the 400 block of 12th Avenue.

Five people on scene were arrested - three of whom were subsequently released unconditionally. 

A search of the residence resulted in the seizure of approximately 1 pound of marihuana, 14 grams of cocaine and 32 grams of Ectasy

Police also seized drug paraphernalia and over $3, 000 in cash.  

Police have charged an 18-year-old Hanover man with several offences including drug trafficking.

A second 19-year-old West Grey man was charged with Possession.  

Both of these males have upcoming court dates in Walkerton.
