Smoke drift on the Peninsula
It was another hazy day on the Bruce Peninsula on Wednesday, but it wasn't fog or humidity.
It was smoke. Again. From the fires burning between Parry Sound and Sudbury.
For at least the second time since it started, smoke from the wildfire dubbed Parry Sound 33 drifted across Georgian Bay to the Bruce Peninsula.
Images began showing up on social media of a smokey haze in the air stretching from Tobermory to south of Wiarton.
In fact, Environment Canada issued an air quality advisory for communities along Georgian Bay from Collingwood to the tip of the Peninsula.
The conditions can be dangerous for the very young, the elderly and anyone who already suffers from breathing issues.
Overnight, the advisory was dropped and there was no new alert issued Thursday morning.
