Mick Jagger Takes 'A Walk In The Park'

Rolling Stones front man Mick Jagger is on the road to recovery after successfully undergoing heart surgery last week.

The prognosis was good following the procedure, and it appears there were no post-surgery complications, as Jagger was released from a New York City-area hospital on schedule.

Jagger shared a photo of himself enjoying some mild springtime weather via his social media.

"A walk in the park!" he wrote in the caption.

The Rolling Stones were forced to postpone the U.S. leg of their No Filter 2019 tour – as well as a concert north of Toronto – after Jagger's doctors told him he needed a heart valve replacement before doing any extensive traveling.

Jagger's last update was almost a week ago, following the transcatheter aortic valve replacement procedure. He thanked fans for their "messages of support" and added that he was "feeling much better now and on the mend."

The 75-year-old also thanked the hospital staff "for doing a superb job."

The band has yet to announced when the postponed dates will be rescheduled.
