Hanover police arrest two people with stolen vehicle and loaded shot gun
On Friday, June 14th 2019 at 07:20 a.m., the Hanover Police Service received a driving complaint of a pick-up truck driving aggressively in a parking lot in the 700 block of 10th Avenue in the Town of Hanover. Hanover officers responded, however, the suspect vehicle was not located at that time.

After a brief struggle, officers took the first suspect into custody with the assistance of a Hanover resident who came to the aid of the officers. The second suspect was taken into custody without incident.
A search of the stolen truck revealed a fully loaded 12 gauge sawed off shotgun located in the front seat along with several other rounds of shotgun shells.
The suspects were transported to the Hanover Police Service station and later remanded into custody for a bail hearing.
Further investigation has determined that these suspects are wanted by Police Services in several jurisdictions.
