Owen Sound police Inspector named Deputy Chief of North Bay

An Owen Sound Police Inspector has been named the Deputy Chief in North Bay. 

Inspector Michael Dazé has seventeen years of policing experience in Owen Sound having worked in many divisions including Primary Response, Criminal Investigations, Community Service, Drugs and Intelligence, and has served in supervisory positions with the ranks of Sergeant, Staff Sergeant and is currently the Inspector of Operations.

In a release issued by OSPS they say Inspector Dazé is a community oriented police leader who will be missed but will bring his knowledge, investigative and operational policing experiences to the North Bay Police Service and to its citizens. 

Inspector Dazé will be commencing his new responsibilities as Deputy Chief in North Bay in the near future.
