80 years and counting for a popular pharmacy in Thorold.
Henderson’s Pharmasave has been family owned since 1939.
The building was built in 1872 and has since been designated by the City of Thorold as being a Heritage Building.
John Henderson, the current owner has worked at the store as a pharmacist since the death of his father Edward in 1984.
Niagara Centre MP Vance Badawey paid a visit to Henderson’s Pharmasave to help celebrate the eight decades of the pharmacy's contributions to the community.
“By working together with local community leaders such as the Hendersons, our government has been able to help kick-start the economy and create full-time, quality jobs in Niagara. I am proud of the important work of our small business community and look forward to continuing our collaboration to create more jobs and strengthen our middle class in Niagara for decades to come.”
