LISTEN | NRP receive angry 911 complaint after Amber Alert

It seems Niagara is not immune to complaints about the Amber Alert.

Early yesterday morning, police issued an Amber Alert after fears that a three year old boy had been abducted.

Police detachments across the province have been getting complaints to 911 about the alerts happening at inconvienent hours.

The Niagara Regional Police have released audio of this call:

Thankfully, this time the child from Sudbury was found safely at a Toronto condo, but the same cannot be said for Riya Rajkumar who was found dead shortly after the her alert went out in February.
