UPDATE | Special weather statement for Niagara ends, but heat warning continues
A special weather statement has now ended for Niagara, but a heat warning continues.
Environment Canada had issued the statement due to a line of thunderstorms moving across Southwestern Ontario early this morning, but the system won't reach the region.
There is a chance of thunderstorms and showers late this afternoon as a cooler front moves into the region.
A heat warning continues with a high of 34 but it will feel like 43.
