Charges Laid in Bath Road Crash
A Kingston man, 28, is charged with two counts of dangerous driving causing bodily harm in connection with a collision on Bath Road, near Sir John A MacDonald Blvd earlier this week.
Kingston Police believe the man drove an SUV onto the shoulder and sidewalk of Bath Road, and struck a pedestrian before crashing into a tree just before 4:00 pm Tuesday. Witnesses told police the vehicle was being driven aggressively, and at a high rate of speed on the sidewalk.
The pedestrian and a passenger in the vehicle suffered serious, life-threatening injuries, while the driver was treated in hospital for minor injuries.
