New Year Celebrations in Kingston

If you are looking for something fun to do with the family on New Year's Eve, the city encourages you to celebrate at the Leon's Centre.

The K-Town Countdown starts at 5:00 pm, and will have live entertainment (from Mad Science, The BarryO Kid Show, and Solomon Woodland), skating, crafts, games, and face painting.

It wraps up at 9 with a fireworks display in Confederation Park.

On Tuesday, you're encouraged to meet Mayor Bryan Paterson, MP Mark Gerretsen, MPP Ian Arthur and the new Kingston City Council during the annual New Year's Levee.

The Levee runs from 2:00- 4:00 pm inside Memorial Hall at City Hall. It will kick-off with a welcome from Town Crier Chris Whyman and a poem from the City's Poet Laureate, Jason Heroux.
