Shoplifting Report Leads to Several Charges for Kingston Woman

A Kingston woman, 40, is charged with carrying a concealed weapon, two counts of drug possession, and theft under $5000 in connection with a report of shoplifting.

Kingston Police were called out to a west-end store early Wednesday afternoon, and found a collapsible baton, as well as suspected fentanyl and crystal meth on the woman, who security guards stopped after she apparently made no effort to pay for items taken from the shop.
