City Councillors Apologize For Leaving Tuesday's Special Council Meeting

Two City Councillors are coming under fire for leaving in the middle of Tuesday's Special Council Meeting.

Mary Rita Holland and Peter Stroud left council chambers to grab a bite to eat, during staff briefings to City Council on the Third Crossing.

They have since apologized.

Both Holland and Stroud voted against building a bridge over the Cataraqui River.

Mayor Bryan Patterson did receive a few complaints, which have since been forwarded to the City Clerk and City Solicitors office, who will determine whether or not to refer the matter to the integrity commissioner.
