City Unveils 150 Trees Plaque at Trillium Ridge Park

Mayor Bryan Paterson will unveil a plaque commemorating the City's 150 Trees effort on Thursday afternoon.

Fifteen red maples have already been planted at Trillium Ridge Park to mark Canada's sesquicentennial year

An additional 135 trees will be planted around the city to form the shape of a giant maple leaf.

The City has committed to doubling Kingston's tree canopy by 2025.
