Council Preview: Tuesday, March 7

Councillors will be asked to give the green light to several future construction projects in the Limestone City at Tuesday night's Council meeting.

The City has already received a $1-million grant to fund part of a major renovation at Breakwater Park, and councillors will vote on approving the project that has been in the works for years.

Council could get work moving again on the Front Road Bridge if they authorize a new contractor to complete the second phase of the project.

City Council could also move forward on a half a million dollar proposal to illuminate the exterior of City Hall and Springer Market square with a LED lighting system , as we get ready to celebrate Canada's 150th.
