Cyclist Dies in Hospital
One of the cyclists struck by a vehicle in Amherstview back on May 27, has died of his injuries in hospital.
Jeff Vervaeke, 42, of Waterdown, was critically injured in the collision, and passed away on Friday.
He was part of a large group of cyclists involved the '7 Days in May' charity ride for pancreatic cancer research.
Two other cyclists were injured in the collision.
The driver involved, Robert Saunders, 51, from Kingston was charged with two counts of Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle causing Bodily Harm.
It's unclear if any other charges will be laid in the investigation.
