Detectives Solve Multiple B&E's Across the City

Kingston Police have made arrests in two Break and Enters.

A man, 38, has been charged with three counts of break and enter, and possession of a controlled drug after a cordless drill and batteries were stolen from a storage room inside an apartment building on Sir John A. back in February.

A man, 36, was charged with two counts of break and enter, and mischief over $5000 in relation to the break in at Dawn House Woman's Shelter.

Police say both men are also responsible for allegedly stealing laptops, a camera and projector from a building on Clarence Street and a small quantity of cash, binoculars and storage bin from a building on Bagot Street,  in early April.

Meanwhile, a fifth person has been charged in connection to the break and enter at the Dawn House Shelter on Midland Avenue.

The accused, a local man, 26, was arrested at police headquarters Tuesday night.

Police say that a large suitcase full of stolen tools was also recovered.

Three other men, and a woman, aged 23 to 32,  were arrested last week in the same case.
