DNA Match Leads to Charges

A Kingston man, 25,  has been arrested after his DNA was located at a crime scene.

On the afternoon of June 14, Police say a man in the Cataraqui Woods Subdivision noticed items were missing from his car and home.

The man also told Police he heard noises nearby at 3:30 a.m.

The scene was swabbed, a DNA match was made, and on Friday, the accused was arrested at his home.

He's been charged with  Break and enter, theft not exceeding $5000, and breach of probation.
