Drinking and Driving Continues to be a Problem for Police

Kingston Police are investigating two evening crashes caused by impaired driving.

Around 10:00 p.m. Monday, a man, 33, was arrested for impaired driving after he allegedly ran a red light at Gardiners Road and Cataraqui Woods Drive, causing a collision.

Police say he had a little under three times the legal limit of alcohol in his system.

The same night, a Kingston man, 40,  was arrested for impaired driving after allegedly rear-ending another vehicle that stopped for a red light on Princess Street.

He was also found to have a little under three times the legal limit of alcohol in his system.
