Drug Unit Searches House On Rideau Street
Two Kingston men in their 40s have been arrested, following a drug bust on Wednesday afternoon.
Around 1:00 p.m., Kingston Police Drug Unit and Emergency Response Unit executed a search warrant at a Rideau Street address.
When the officers entered the house, a man jumped out of a window but officers caught up with him while the other man was located inside and arrested.
Police seized 8.5 grams of marijuana, 189 grams of cocaine, 8 diazepam pills, 79 grams of crystal meth, along with a large sum of money.
11 charges were laid against the two men including; possession of drugs, possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a prohibited weapon and possession of proceeds of crime.
