Environment Canada Cancels Heat Warnings
A Heat warning issued for the Kingston area more than a week ago has been lifted.
It follows a sweltering week of heat and humidity that claimed at least 33 lives in Quebec in recent days.
The warning was cancelled just before 5:00 a.m. Friday.
Quebec health officials say most of the deaths were around Montreal and Quebec's Eastern Townships where mid-30 temps and a high humidex made it feel like 45.
Temperatures are expected to still be in the mid to high 20s for the week ahead.
