    June 3 - October 15, 2017
    Loving Spoonful's Grow-A-Row Campaign is in full bloom for 2017. Farmers and gardeners are encouraged to grow extra food for people who cannot afford healthy food and to donate it to the program. Loving Spoonful volunteers deliver this harvest directly to more than 40 local agencies in our community and to Fresh Food Market Stands, creating thousands of healthy meals each growing season.

  • Focus Forwards 5K Run & Walk

    Lace up your shoes and get moving in City Park at Focus Forward's 5K Run & Walk fundraiser! Focus Forward is a not for profit organization with a mission to collaborate with Indigenous communities across Canada to empower their youth through applied focus programs that give back to their community. Following the run there will be food and prizes available, as well as booths from partnering organizations to browse.

    Join us at the 4th Annual Taylor Hall Ball Hockey Tournament. All of the proceeds will be donated to the Boys and Girls Club of Kingston. Watch current and past NHL players, including Taylor Hall himself, take to the streets for some stick and ball. Princess Street will be closed from Division St. to Barrie St.

    It's the 19th Annual Taste of Kingston in Confederation Park. This family-friendly event invites you to enjoy the many flavours that Kingston has to offer, while raising funds in support of Diabetes Canada's programs and services, research, education and advocacy initiatives. Over 20 Restaurants will be on site serving diabetes-friendly food options and participating in a “Best of Taste” public voting competition. Kids can enjoy an inflatable zone provided by the Boys and Girls club and live entertainment.
