Group Urges OMB to Make Decision on Student Housing Project
A downtown neighbourhood group is calling for the Ontario Municipal Board to make up their minds about a student housing project.
The Sydenham District Association is questioning why its taken over nine months for the OMB to issue a decision on an appeal to the University Suites project.
The majority of OMB decisions are issued within 60 days of the hearing.
Developers behind the project want to build two, 10 storey buildings at the corner of Princess and University.
The project has already been approved by the city and has the support of the Williamsville District Community Association.
