Heat Wave Continues

The Canada Day long weekend may be over, but the heat and humidity that steamed up some holiday festivities, is sticking around a while longer.

Southern Ontario endured a scorcher over the long weekend, with Toronto getting temperatures and humidity that felt like 46 Celsius.

Kingston remains under a heat warning, and according to Environment Canada, the humidex will be in the mid thirties Tuesday, and near forty for Wednesday and Thursday.

Overnight low temperatures are expected to be in the low twenties.

According to Environment Canada, a cool down is not expected until Friday.
