Home Ownership Program Applications Now Being Accepted
Home ownership may be closer to reality than you think.
Eligible residents living in Kingston and Frontenac County can now apply for a forgivable loan of up to $15,000 to put towards the down payment of a home.
"This is just one of the programs designed to assist households in Kingston and Frontenac County acquire affordable, permanent housing and supports the City's vision of prioritizing affordable housing in our communities," says Sheldon Laidman, director of housing and social services.
If your total household income is less than $85,000 and would like to purchase a home priced at $300,000 or less, make sure you apply by May 3.

Funding is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
