Intoxicated Woman Arrested after Disturbance

A Kingston woman, 30, was arrested and held to sober up, following a disturbance at a Pembridge Street Complex Tuesday night.

Kingston Police received several reports of a woman banging on doors and screaming around 7:30 p.m., and once officers spoke to the woman, they determined she was intoxicated.

The woman was placed in the police cruiser and allegedly became belligerent towards the female officer who was driving, saying she wanted to beat her up.

Police say she was kicking at the plexiglass on the way to Police Headquarters.

She spent the night in the drunk tank, and was given a fine for drinking in public.
