KEYS Hosts Job Fair Wednesday
KEYS Job Centre holds its annual job fair on Wednesday.
If you're looking for a job or want a career change, you will want to bring your resume to the Portsmouth Olympic Harbour between 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
“This is an excellent opportunity for those looking for work or for a career change to discover what options are available to them,” says Anne Vincent, employer liaison at KEYS.
“We encourage job seekers to come to this event prepared – to dress professionally, have resumes on hand and take the time to talk about their skills to employers.”
Employers from all different industries from government, manufacturing, retail to tourism will be set up at the fair waiting to meet with potential candidates.
“Job fairs are exciting events with so much positive energy and great outcomes for both job seekers and employers,” says Gillian Watters, program director at KEYS.
“Job fairs offer an important benefit for businesses. Business owners can meet with dozens of motivated job seekers and take care of all their hiring needs in one day. Many employers are prepared to hire right at the event. ”
800 people are expected to attend the fair.
