Kingston Man Arrested in Child Porn Investigation

A Kingston man, 27, has been arrested after an investigation into the sharing of child pornography.

Kingston Police launched an investigation on February 28, and led them to an address in Brockville.

The accused, who was arrested on Wednesday, was found to be on prohibition order with a condition not to access the internet or any other digital network.

During the arrest, Police say he threw a cellphone in his possession against the front of the residence.

Inside the home, officers located and seized another cellphone and several digital storage devices.

A forensic examination of the digital devices revealed images believed to meet the Criminal Code definition of child pornography.

He was transported to Kingston police headquarters where he was charged with making child porn available, possession of child pornography, accessing child pornography, and breach of prohibition.
