Kingston Under Another Special Weather Statement

It was a snowy Monday morning commute as kids headed back to school after their holiday break.

Environment Canada issued a Special Weather Statement for the Kingston area Sunday afternoon.

School buses in the Kingston area were not canceled, but there were several delays.

Snow began overnight and is expected to continue throughout the day before it begins to taper off Monday afternoon.

Strong winds will blow the snow around, which could result in reduced visibility and make for some treacherous driving conditions.

Snowfall totals are expected to average about 10 centimetres across the region.
