MTO Says Bump on WB-401 will Be Fixed Next Week

If you've driven on the westbound 401 near Gardiner's Road lately, you probably felt a big bump.

The Ministry of Transportation says they are aware of the problem and it will be getting fixed soon.

The MTO have installed bump ahead and bump signs at the location until interim repairs can be made, which are expected to begin on Monday.

It will require single lane closures overnight and could take up to two nights to complete.

The westbound on-ramp from Gardiners Road will also be closed during repairs and the MTO is asking motorists
to slow down when approaching the area.

It was all the talk over twitter on the weekend, with one person saying they saw a utility trailer go airborne over it and come down so hard the tail gate opened.
