Canadian High School Students Voice Concerns About Youth Unemployment

Youth in Canada say they are most worried about youth unemployment, environmental protection, and paying off our debts, according to the 2017 Student Budget Consultation Survey results.

7,000 high school students from across the country took part in the survey.

68 per-cent said they believed that there is a youth unemployment problem.

More than half of the students polled said they believed environmental protection should be a key priority for the government, while two-thirds of respondents believed debt reduction should also be a key priority.

The Trudeau Liberals will unveil their second budget on Wednesday.
