City Wants Feedback on Post Secondary Student Housing By-law
The City of Kingston would like to know what you think about a proposed interim control by-law that would restrict expanding student housing around St. Lawrence College and Queen's University in Kingston for one year.
A public meeting to discuss what this would mean for neighbourhoods in the University District will take place Wednesday night in Memorial Hall at City Hall starting at 6:00 p.m.
"We look forward to hearing feedback from the public on any land use concerns in the near-campus neighbourhoods and the potential use of an Interim Control Bylaw during the completion of a land use study," says Paige Agnew, director of planning, building and licensing.
If you can't make it in person, the meeting will also be live streamed on the Kingston City Council Youtube Channel.
