Kingston Police Report 100% Child Seat Installation Failure Rate
Kingston Police say no one passed their Child Car Seat Safety Check on Tuesday.
Police and volunteers checked 72 car seats, and 100 per-cent of them needed corrections or adjustments.
In fact, 15 seats were removed from vehicles because they were expired or in dangerous condition according to police.
Some of the most common errors were incorrect seats for kids weights and height, harnesses sitting too high or too low, or using both the universal anchorage system and the seatbelt, rather than just one.
