Labour Council Marks National Day of Mourning in Kingston

Friday April 28 marks the International Day of Mourning for workers and their families who have been killed or injured on the job.

On average, two Canadian workers are killed every day in work-related incidents while many more become injured or sick from exposure to hazardous materials.

The Kingston and District Labour Council will mark the day a special public Ceremony at OPSEU Regional Office, 824 John Counter Blvd, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
