OPP Nab Man Wanted by Kingston Police

A man wanted by Kingston Police on a variety of charges was arrested on Tuesday when Napanee OPP found him sleeping in his vehicle with a woman.

Police say they got a call about a suspicious blue vehicle parked on an ATV trail near Mountain Road in Stone Mills Township.

Preston Hilliard, 28, was arrested, while the female passenger was released at the scene.

Preston was wanted by police for Breaking and Entering, Breaching an Undertaking, and Breaching a Recognizance of Bail Conditions.

Police also searched the vehicle and seized Crystal Methamphetamine, Cocaine, Marihuana, injectable Hydromorphone, $800 in cash, drug paraphernalia and stolen property.

Hilliard now faces charges of; Care and Control of a Motor Vehicle while Impaired by Drug, Possession of Proceeds obtained by Crime, 5 counts of failing to comply with an Officer in Charge Undertaking, 2 counts of failing to comply with a Recognizance of Bail, Failing to Comply with a Probation Order, 2 counts of Possession of a Schedule one Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, and 2 counts of Driving while Under Suspension.

He was held for a bail hearing in Napanee before being transferred into the custody of Kingston Police.
