We are just learning now from Police that the incident took place on December 12 around 9:30 p.m. when a group pushing a shopping cart with a young child inside approached the check out.

Police say the group took turns distracting the employee as they piled unpaid for toys into the cart and short changed the cashier by $350.

The error wasn't caught until the end of the shift and after reviewing video surveillance it was discovered an additional $320 in merchandise was also stolen, totaling a loss of $670.
