Police Seize Guns and Drugs During Traffic Stop

Three men face drug and weapons charges following a traffic stop in Kingston on March 2.

OPP, with the help of Kingston police, searched the vehicle and seized a sawed off 22 caliber rifle, a black air pistol, 2.5 grams of marijuana, 0.8 grams of crystal meth, bolt cutters, and a face mask.

Chad Davey, 27, of Napanee, Christopher Lewis, 27 of Tweed, and Tyler Lyons, 25, of Belleville were arrested and held for bail court in Napanee.

Davey has been charged with:

- Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance
- Possession of a Schedule 2 Substance
- Possession of a Prohibited Firearm
- Transporting a Firearm Carelessly
- Possession of a Firearm tampering with a Serial Number
- Possession of a Firearm while Prohibited
- Possession of Ammunition while Prohibited

Lewis has been charged with:

- 3 counts of Failing to Comply with Recognizance of Bail
- Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance
- Possession of a Prohibited Firearm
- Transporting a Firearm Carelessly
- Possession of a Firearm tampering with a Serial Number
- 2x Possession of a Firearm while Prohibited
- Possession of Ammunition while Prohibited

Lyons has been charged with:

- 2 counts of Failing to Comply with a Recognizance of Bail
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance
- Possession of a Prohibited Firearm
- Transporting a Firearm Carelessly
- Possession of a Firearm tampering with a Serial Number
