Nominate an Outstanding Citizen for a Civic Award

You can now nominate someone for a Civic Award.

The annual awards recognize the significant community contributions of outstanding Kingstonians.

"Presenting these awards is one of the highlights of my year - and there is never a shortage of worthy nominees," says Mayor Bryan Paterson.

"The efforts and enthusiasm of all those who are nominated help make Kingston the vibrant, caring community it is."

Nominees are being sought for the Civic Award for Youth Volunteerism, First Capital Distinguished Citizen and Honourable Achievement awards.

Click here to fill out an application, or visit city hall for a hard copy.

You have until April 27 at 4:00 p.m. to submit a nomination.

All nominations will be reviewed to confirm eligibility and sent on to the selection committee.

The awards will be presented at the Canada Day Civic Ceremony.
