Officers Respond to Hang-Up 911 Calls
A woman who called 9-1-1 and hung up, ended up getting arrested.
Kingston Police went to check on a home after receiving two hang up 9-1-1 calls from and east end address early Wednesday morning.
When officers arrived on scene, they were greeted by a man who had visible injuries to his mouth.
Officers learned the accused had become angry with the victim over new friendships he had formed and that's when she started yelling and screaming as he tried to leave, allegedly smashing property and assaulting the man.
Police say further investigation revealed the accused had damaged tires on the victim's vehicle earlier this month.
The woman, 30, was arrested and charged with assault and two counts of mischief.
