Police Looking for Information Following Assault

Kingston Police are looking for information about a weekend assault.

On Saturday, April 15, around 1:00 a.m. an woman told Police that she was in the area of Albert and Earl Streets when she was assaulted by an unknown person.

The victim reported that she was walking on the sidewalk when she was grabbed from behind causing both her and the suspect to fall to the ground.

Police say the suspect ran off and the victim was not seriously hurt.

The motive for this assault and the suspect description is unknown, other than they were wearing a hooded sweatshirt.
