Roommates Flee Home in Pajamas from Assaultive Intruder
A scary wake up call for one woman has led to charges for a Kingston man, 20.
Just before midnight Wednesday, the woman was laying in bed when the accused, who was unknown to her, entered her room.
She told the man he was in the wrong house and asked him to leave.
The accused, who was believed to be intoxicated, instead closed her door, picked up an aluminum water bottle and made sexual remarks towards her before she called out to her roommate.
Her roommate then called 9-1-1 and both women were able to flee the residence quickly, wearing only their pajamas and socks.
Two men intervened outside and were able to restrain the accused until Police arrived.
The accused was charged with unlawfully in a dwelling-house, assault, and assault with a weapon.
