Single Vehicle Rollover Ends in Impaired Driving Charges

A Kingston man is facing impaired charges after rolling his vehicle early Thursday morning.

When Kingston Police arrived on scene at Montreal and John Streets just before 1:00 a.m., they found a large field of debris, a white 4-door car on its roof and the driver sitting in a nearby patio chair.

Officers say he showed signs of impairment, he was arrested and transported to police headquarters where he refused a breath test.

The man, 29, was charged with impaired driving, failing to provide breath sample, driving with open liquor, and interfering with traffic.

His driver's license was automatically suspended for 90 days, and his vehicle was seized and impounded for seven days.
